Students at JFK weren't the only ones beginning a new year. Amy Rizzo, new principal at the school, enthusiastically welcomed students and families on the first day. Even 'Hank the Hawk' got a photo op with Mrs. Rizzo!

1D4D1: A HUGE thank you to the Milford Education Foundation for sponsoring this wonderful event. The MEF has graciously sponsored and/or funded many great activities for the benefit of Milford Public Schools. Thank you MEF!


1D4D1: A few sessions on the effect of drumming on heart & soul; another session had attendees participating in a yoga class.




1D4D1 attendees learned valuable lessons from simple exercises. One task was to draw an animal in 7 seconds after announced by the group leader. Another was to concentrate on listening skills after watching a paper airplane instructional video.





1D4D1 (otherwise known as 'One Day for Day One') got off to a great start this morning. The 1-day event brings dozens of staff members together to learn, share, and participate in self-help sessions as they prepare for the first day of school.
