Exploration of careers continued yesterday when we visited Pumpkin Delight's Career Fair. Held in 2 sessions, students were able to visit with professionals in a variety of fields -- ask questions - and get some 'hands on' practice during the event. Thanks, all, for a great day!

The Garden Shop scenario brought many smiles to JFK students and staff, as the PK students filled a few 'phone orders' and then delivered them to various classrooms via the Garden Shop Delivery Cart. Lots of thinking and planning skills developed here -- and, of course, smiles!

Our youngest learners explore different jobs through 'Scenarios.' Right now, the scenario in PK is Garden Shop. Teachers thread a variety of lessons that are connected to running a Garden Shop. These JFK students make the plan, fulfill the orders and serve 'customers'. So fun!

Take a moment to honor the planet we enjoy. Happy Earth Day, 4/22/2024.

Our youngest learners went on a Safari last week - thanks to our Early Childhood programming and our partnership with the Milford Public Library. Families had fun finding clues throughout the library -- and engaging in games and some wonderful interactive stories! A grrreeeeeeaaaaat time was had by all!
