Fund for Teachers
Three of our teachers have been awarded a Fund for Teachers grant- Minette Junkins from Calf Pen Meadow, Marie Armon and Maryann Lennon who are both from Orange Avenue.
Fund for Teachers awards grants to educators to enable them to extend their professional growth. The goal is to provide them with experiences that will enhance their teaching and impact their students’ learning as well as strengthen the school community.
Our teachers will be traveling abroad to bring back exciting knowledge to the MPS learning community! Congratulations!
Kindergarten Summer Academy
Calling all incoming Kindergarteners and their families! MPS will host a four-week summer academy this July. There is no cost associated with this program. Families will need to provide their own transportation. Sign up here!
Elementary Summer Enrichment Program

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration is open for the 2025-26 school year. Registration is conducted exclusively online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal found on the district’s website at https://www.milforded.org/page/registration.

Mayor's Youth Awards
Each year, the Mayor and Milford Department of Human Services/Youth and Family Services recognize youth who have performed outstanding service to improve Milford. Teachers, parents, and community members nominate youth for this award. Nominate a student using this link!
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
The Rape Crisis Center is hosting its 18th Annual Walk to raise money for the Center's services. The Milford Public Schools Team Captains Angela Intelisano (aintelisano@milforded.org)and Gina Cristina (gcristina@milforded.org) are looking to form a MPS team. Milford Earth Day Celebration
Milford's Earth Day celebration will take place Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Milford Green. The event will feature environmental organizations, non-profits, local businesses, and fun for all ages!

Room 17 + The MAC Show: Math + Arts + Technology = Happiness
