Stephanie Quarato

Milford Public Schools is pleased to announce that Stephanie Quarato will assume the role of Instructional Supervisor for PK-5 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) for the district. 

With over 15 years of experience, Quarato has held many roles in the education field, including serving as a math educator, leading professional learning workshops, and developing curriculum. 

Most recently, Quarato was Associate Director of Learning, Innovation, and Development for Regional School District 13. In this role, she led K-12 curriculum development and implementation. A key part of her work was developing a personalized math instruction approach. Quarato collaborated with teachers, principals, and district leaders to establish clear goals and assessment measures to track progress and make data-informed decisions. She values a school culture where STEM learning is engaging, inclusive, and student-centered. 

Before her most recent role, Quarato served as a Mathematics Specialist/Technology Integration Specialist at Clinton Public School District, where she earned the Connecticut Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. 

Quarato received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics from DePaul University and a Master of Arts degree in educational leadership from Central Connecticut State University. She also holds a Sixth-Year degree and certification in evaluation and supervision from Sacred Heart University. Her thesis centered on the flipped classroom model, in which she was named one of the top 100 educators, worldwide.
