Milford Public Schools is pleased to announce that Kimberly Vigil will assume the role of Associate Director of Talent Management and Development for the district. 

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Vigil has over 20 years of experience in education as a world language teacher, where she has mentored students and supported diverse teams of colleagues. 

She has been a world language teacher and the department chair at Joseph A. Foran High School since 2023. In this role, Vigil was committed to enhancing organizational effectiveness, focusing on innovative program development and curriculum design. She also fostered faculty initiatives that enhanced high-quality instruction. 

Before joining Milford Public Schools, Vigil was a Spanish teacher and Content Lead at Amity Middle School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish from Southern Connecticut State University in 2003, her Master of Science degree in Spanish from Central Connecticut State University in 2009, and her 6th Year Certificate in Teaching from Sacred Heart University in 2013.
