Fourth- and fifth-graders at Pumpkin Delight participated in a corn shucking relay race. The corn came from a local farm and after the students shucked it, the food services team prepared it for lunch.

Aside from engaging in friendly competition, the students learned about the history of corn, and gained an appreciation for farm-to-table meals and the hard work that goes into food production.
