Grow A Little Spot of Happiness
Pre-K and Kindergarten students and families joined us for the "Little Spots" event, an engaging experience designed to explore emotions. Through themed activities children learn to recognize emotions and discover healthy ways to manage them with their families.
Halloween Costume Contest
The Milford Youth Prevention Committee is hosting a Halloween Costume Contest on Oct. 12, at Fowler Field that is raising donations for St. Jude's. Visit this link to sign up!
Walk and Talk
The Milford Health Department and Youth Family Services are hosting a "walk and talk" for parents/caregivers on Oct. 5, 2-3 p.m. at Eisenhower Park. This walk and talk will cover self-care and mental health strategies for families.
Milford Health Department Series
The Milford Health Department is hosting a series throughout October that will discuss drug prevention and mental health. Sessions are on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at Woodmont Borough Hall. Register here.
Essay Contest
Calling all 5th-8th graders! The Milford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting an essay contest. Winners of the Chapter have a chance to move on to the State, Division and National contests. View the prompt and learn more here!
Affinity Esports
This organization has many offerings for young learners who are interested in gaming. The Milford location has after-school classes, which combine education and gaming. There are also game nights and the opportunity to join a competitive team.
