Dear Milford Public Schools Families,
In anticipation of the start of the school year, we would like to inform families that the final day to request a Kindergarten waiver entry for the 2024-2025 school year is Friday, August 16th, 2024.
In accordance with Public Act 23-208, “a child who has not reached the age the age of five on or before the first day of September of the school year may be admitted (1) upon a written request by the parent or guardian of such child and (2) following an assessment of such child by an appropriate certified staff member to ensure that admitting such child is developmentally appropriate.”
To request a waiver, please complete the Milford Public Schools online registration process by following the link https://www.milforded.org/o/mps/page/registration-2024-25.
After receiving your online waiver request, we will contact you to establish an appointment time for your child to participate in the waiver assessment.
