HQI Live! (High Quality Instruction Live!) is a week-long professional learning workshop for our educators and administrators. The workshops feature live demonstrations of new instructional ideas and practices designed to support Milford Public Schools’ mission of providing high-quality instruction for our students.
This revolutionary professional learning model features a Milford teacher who spends an hour and a half each day with a group of students conducting a lesson using new instructional practices while fellow educators and administrators watch and learn. As the week progresses, attendees of HQI Live! witness students’ growth in real-time. Every day, after the live instruction, the teachers debrief what they observed and discuss how what they learned can be applied to their instruction for the upcoming school year.
