Districtwide Art Show Gallery Opens on Monday, 5/6
"Stunning" "Extraordinary" "Outstanding" The art pieces created by our students this year are absolutely incredible -- and you are welcome to stroll through the hallways of Parsons to enjoy them! Our Annual Art Gallery opening will take place next week, over a series of 3 days (see schedule on the Spring Arts Season 2024 poster for the schools to be honored each night). Congratulations, MPS, for yet another outstanding example of the fine work done across the district!

Milford Public Schools & City to Receive Proclamation on Monday (5/6) @ BOA Meeting, 7:30 p.m.
At the Board of Aldermen regular business meeting on Monday night (5/6), the Mayor will present a proclamation to MPS for recently being named one of the 'Best Communities for Music Education' -- for the 4th Time in a Row! We are honored and grateful -- and look forward to this very special event. Presentation time ~ 7:30. All are welcome.
Milford Library Calendar of Events: May 2024

Revised 2023-24 Academic Calendar Released; Last Day is June 11th
We’ve been receiving lots of questions about the school calendar and “when is the last day of school?” We are happy to report, the academic calendar has been updated and reflects the 2 snow days we had earlier this year, and the addition of those 2 days to the end of the original calendar. Our last day of school will be Tuesday, June 11th. Here’s a fridge-worthy printable version for you. 2023-24 Calendar – Revised.
High School Graduation Dates Set; Middle School ‘Stepping Up’ Dates, Too!
All of the high school/middle school graduations/stepping up ceremonies have been set! Here’s the full list for these ceremonies (direct link to graphic).
DOWN THE ROAD: Tuesday, May 21: Blast Off to Summer Reading
Mark your calendars! In order to prepare our elementary students for their Summer Reading efforts, the Milford Public Schools and the Milford Public Library are teaming up to present ‘Blast Off to Summer Reading!’ The event will be held at the Library, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., and include games, literacy activities, summer reading program info, and other fun times! Milford's "Farmers Markets" to Open on 6/6 and 6/8
They're back!! If you've been craving the farm fresh produce and other items created locally, you'll be happy to hear the Downtown Milford Farmers Market and the Walnut Beach Farmers Market are poised to open at the beginning of June. Here are the times they will be open from now 'til the fall. Flyer.
Walnut Beach Market: Thursday evenings, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Downtown Milford Market: (@ Wasson Field): Saturday mornings, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, 6/8: Dash for Danni, See flyer for details
The Annual Dash for Danni Road Race is slated for Saturday, June 8th. The proceeds from this race help fund the Danni Kemp Foundation, in honor of Foran High School’s star athlete, Danni Kemp, who sadly passed away from a rare form of brain cancer. We’ll remind you as we get closer. Please plan on attending this wonderful tribute fundraiser. FLYER.
