Thursday, 2/15: Board of Finance Public Hearing on the 2024-25 Budget, City Hall, 7:00 p.m.
The next step in the 2024-25 Budget process is the Board of Finance’s review of the submitted budget proposals by the City and the Board of Education. The first part of the process is the PUBLIC HEARING, at which members of the public may share their thoughts on either the City and/or the Education Operations budget proposals. The BOF Public Hearing will be held at City Hall (In-Person) and start at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend – even if you don’t plan to speak. Mark your calendars now. TONIGHT! Friday, 2/9: Movie Screening – Encanto, held at Jonathan Law HS, Adults Free Admission, Kids $2, Start Time: 6:00 p.m.
The Jonathan Law High School Spanish Club is pleased to present a community event for kids – a screening of the animated film Encanto! Adults will get in free, kids are $2 per person (elementary). Concessions will be available for purchase at the door. Why not spend some nice family time together for this wonderful movie? FLYER.
Saturday, 2/10: Tackle Hunger – SOUPer Bowl, held on the Green near Mary Taylor Church, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., FREE entry with Non-Perishable Food Donation
Now in its second year, Mary Taylor Church will hold their “Tackle Hunger – SOUPer Bowl” event and you’re invited. Live music, food, games, and fun will help get this tailgate party started. Admission is by bringing non-perishable food items (canned goods or other shelf-stable items) and you get in for free. Bringing multiple items is suggested – but the group will accept cash, as well. Mark your calendars now – Saturday, 2/10. All donations will benefit the Beth-El Center, Milford Food Bank, and the Purple Pantry boxes. Hope to see you there! FLYER.

It’s Heart Health Month – so why not take a moment out of your day to have a free blood pressure screening? Regularly monitoring your blood pressure with the support of your health care team can help lower your risk for heart disease and stroke. FLYER.
Friday, 2/16: Free COVID-19 Vax Clinic for Adults w/ No Insurance/Underinsured, Milford Health Dept., 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
If you or someone you know is underinsured, or doesn’t have health insurance at all, the Milford Health Department has your back! Stop by their office (82 New Haven Avenue) to get a free COVID-19 vaccination. To learn more, click on this FLYER.
Milford Junior Major League Registration Now Open

Living on the shoreline, we all can appreciate the huge benefit we have right in front of us: Long Island Sound! And, it’s VITAL for boat owners to understand the important responsibility they have to keeping all of us safe while having fun. Learn the rules connected to proper boat safety through a wide variety of courses taught by our experts at the Milford Flotilla. NOW OPEN: Milford Audubon Summer Camp Opportunities
The Milford Audubon Summer Camp has a robust selection of opportunities for kids from Grades K-5. Check out the linked flyer to learn more about prices, sessions, and more. The camps are held at The Coastal Center, located at the end of Milford Point Road.
