Hello friends!
With Thanksgiving on the way, we want to share our gratitude for all that we have here in Milford. This past week, we saw some wonderful community spirit, in our schools and across the city. The Thanks for Giving Food Drive, conducted by our local scouting community, collected enough donations to provide more than 300 Thanksgiving baskets for local residents – plus a lot more to supply the many foodbanks in our area. Our schools and the city partnered, once again, for a celebration of our vets in a variety of Veterans Day activities. Milford’s overwhelming show of support continues to demonstrate our gratitude to those who served. On Wednesday, we witnessed another great community event – the MPS Community Fair – held right here at Parsons. This free event showcased dozens of agencies, foundations, and networks that all provide support and services to the community. Well done and thank you, one and all!
As you know, things are really starting to get busy around here. Lots of events, lots of shopping, lots of planning. We wouldn’t want it any other way. Here’s what’s on tap for next week and beyond.
