Community Conversation on the Future of Milford Public Schools - Oct. 16th at Jonathan Law HS, Pre-Registration Required
If you missed the THINK BIG, DREAM BIG Community Conversation last week, don’t worry! There’s another session on Monday, Oct. 16th (@ Law). A light dinner will be served from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. with the presentation following from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. And, childcare will be provided if you need it. MPS Podcast Released Today: Season 2, Episode 4
Today’s MPS (Most Prevailing Stories) Podcast (Episode 4) provides some excellent information about the THINK BIG, DREAM BIG conversation that took place last week. Podcast master Cam Wilkitis spends some time with Dr. Anna Cutaia to learn more about the inspiration for the event and what she has observed so far. Don’t miss it – it’s a good one!
Parent-Teacher Conferences Coming Next Week; Prepare in Advance to Keep Your Appointment On-Track and Positive
The Parent-Teacher Conferences are poised to begin next week and we are pleased to provide you with this Tip Sheet to use as you prepare for your appointment. Keeping these suggestions in mind will help keep the appointment on track and positive.

Dismissal Times for Parent-Teacher Conference Days Are 10 Minutes Earlier
And – as a ‘heads-up,’ please be aware dismissal times are altered by 10 minutes on Parent-Teacher Conference Days. We’ll remind you again next week.
Elementary: 1:15 p.m.
Middle: 12:35 p.m.
High: 11:48 a.m.
Got a Special Talent? Adult Ed is Searching for New Courses, Instructors (for Spring 2024)
The Milford Adult Education program is seeking local individuals to share their special talents with others – and earn some extra cash at the same time! In an effort to expand the enrichment course offerings, the staff continues to focus on bringing in new courses to keep the program fresh.
Milford is a vibrant community and we know our residents have a wide range of interests and areas of expertise. Wouldn't it be great to share your knowledge with others -- teach your friends and neighbors a new skill and make new friends at the same time? And, the best part, you will earn extra cash while doing it!
Proposals for new courses are welcome via the district’s online ‘Got Talent’ form. The link can also be found on the MPS district website at www.milforded.org (select the Adult Education tab at the top). Questions also may be addressed to milfordae@milforded.org.

The Milford Artisan Market is this Weekend, Downtown Milford Green
Touted as one of the best fairs of the season, the Milford Artisan Market will take place this weekend, Saturday AND Sunday. If you haven’t found the ‘right gift’ for someone on your holiday list, you will likely find it here. Start your holiday shopping early – and even better – shop local! Have fun.
Free Children’s Flu Clinics Slated: 10/18, 10/19, 10/24
Thanks to the great work of our friends at the Milford Health Dept., a series of FREE Flu Clinics have been scheduled (ages 6 months to 18 years). No appointment is necessary – check out the FLYER and access the QR code for more info.
