Dear West Shore Families-
It was a great week here at West Shore Middle School! Students have been busy in their classes and showcasing their work on a daily basis. On Tuesday, our sixth grade band students demonstrated their amazing musical ability at their Winter Concert. The performance was incredible! The audience could see how hard Mr. Nunno’s students have been working and the growth they have made since September is remarkable. On Thursday, our ski club got the opportunity to ski at Mount Southington. It sounds like a great time was had by all!
Next week, on Thursday, students in grade 8 will experience Say Something, a virtual training session from Sandy Hook Promise. Say Something empowers students to grow a community of upstanders that looks out for the safety of their communities. Please click here for additional information.
As you know the second marking period has closed. Your child’s grades will be viewable in Powerschool on February 3rd.
