Dear West Shore Families-
The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us. This is my favorite holiday. Having my family together makes me so happy, not to mention all the amazing food! The Law vs. Foran football game looks to be the most competitive one that I can remember. Law is 8-1 and Foran is undefeated. The game is at 10:30 so go and support the Eagles if you can!
The first semester report cards are viewable on Powerschool today. If you are a 6th grade parent I would like to remind you that period 7 classes (STEM Math, Humanities SS, STEM Science, Humanities ELA, French, and Spanish) are graded pass/fail on a trimester basis. This means that on the report card for Quarter 1, you will not see a grade for these courses. However, you can view your child’s current progress in real-time in PowerSchool under quick look up. With this said, your child’s trimester one final grade will appear on the Quarter 2 report card, the second trimester grade will be on the Quarter 3 report card and the trimester three grade will be on the Quarter 4 report card. Now say that ten times fast!
Our WAVE students are showcasing their art at the Firehouse Gallery this weekend. The gallery is open to the public Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm.Next week we will have an early dismissal on Wednesday and no school on Thursday or Friday for the Thanksgiving break.
