Dear West Shore Families-
This week our 7th graders were learning to find each character’s perspective in a story by being alert to the details in what they were reading. This helped them to connect further with their reading and see the story from a different point of view.
After school clubs start this week! Students should have already submitted their forms and received their club assignments. Letters will be going home from the staff who are leading each club. The only club that didn’t receive a letter yet is our ski club. More information will be forthcoming. Students do have to purchase lift tickets and rent equipment if they don’t have it at their own expense.
This month Mrs. Bowler and Ms. Connors have once again partnered with Bridgeport Hospital to support the Norma Pfriem Breast Center. Like last year, they have their own webpage for donations (click here). We will be selling bracelets all month. Students can participate directly by making a small donation to wear pink on Friday, 10/14. Our SRO, Officer Clark, will have the pink police cruiser with her that day as well!
Please help our PTA support our school by participating in this year’s MCM Fundraiser, click here! Our PTA uses the funds to do amazing things for our school. (Fundraiser ends on 10/21 and pies will be available for pick up on 11/19.)
