Dear West Shore Families-
We’ve had another successful week here at WSMS. I think we are getting the swing of the new schedule and will finish our first rotation on Monday. We have many exciting learning opportunities happening here at Westshore. In this photo you see an engineering circle in Mrs. Morrissey’s science class. Here our students take leadership roles as they decide how to investigate a scientific phenomenon.

I am noticing most of our bike riders are not wearing helmets. I am asking our parents to please consider getting a helmet for your child. Bike accidents are the number one cause of brain injuries in children. I sometimes see the kids riding and looking at their phones which makes a helmet even more important because they are now riding distracted.
I hope you all enjoy this weekend and possibly go to one of the many fairs around the state.
