Dear WSMS Families,
I can’t believe June is here! Next week we will be celebrating with our spirit week festivities. Thanks to our team leaders for organizing this. On Wednesday the PTA is getting us an ice cream truck so all the kids will get a frosty treat! Thank you PTA! If you haven’t had a chance yet please check out our virtual art show. Mrs. Bacon and Mrs. Laudenslager did a wonderful job selecting student work to exhibit.
We had our Middle School Track meet this week and it was a great time! Our students showed great sportsmanship and school spirit.
It is nearing the end of the trimester so it is a good time for you to check your child’s grades on Powerschool. If they are struggling in any class please reach out to the teacher so you have time to get them on track before the end of the year.

A message from the school nurse regarding medication return........
The nurse is planning on returning all student medication directly to the student on the last full week of school. Wed 6/15 8th grade meds; Thurs 6/16/ 7th grade meds; and Fri 6/17 6th grade meds. If you desire a different plan, please call the nurse directly at 203-301-5610.
Grade 8 Families:
The eighth grade Stepping Up ceremony has been scheduled for June 15th at 5:00. The festivities will be at the JLAW gymnasium.
