Dear West Shore Families-
Well the holidays are just around the bend. I know the staff and students are looking forward to winter break. As you know, the students report cards are viewable on Power School today. You will notice that the students do not have grades for the new enrichment cluster classes. This is because they are pass/fail and do not factor into the overall GPA. Please log into PowerSchool if you wish to view these grades. Students who achieve honors will be given their certificates in homeroom on December 22nd so you will have them to post at home for the holiday break.
I’ve had some inquiries about spirit wear and wanted to let you know that Nantucket Embroidery is working very hard to complete all orders before Christmas. They will contact you when your order is ready for pickup.Due to Covid they are having some delays with their distributors and doing their very best to fulfill all orders.Pickup will be at their location: 232 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT.
As you know we have Thursday and Friday off next week. On Mon-Wed the kids came up with a few fun ideas for spirit days. Please see the attached flyer for the daily themes. Finally, can you please take a moment to remind your children how important it is to keep their masks on at school and practice social distancing? We are seeing some relaxing on the kids' parts and want to keep everyone healthy.
