Dear West Shore Families-
Well we had a little taste of winter this week. I am one of those who loves the snow so I enjoyed seeing it coat the ground yesterday morning. We had a lot of fun this week with spirit week and the kids got really creative. The eighth graders decided we should do a holiday themed spirit week for the three days leading up to winter break. I will send the details on that in next week’s news.
During our Professional Learning this week our staff focused on intentional planning for the 80 minute block with student engagement as a priority. We also had a Technology in the Round experience where the teachers taught each other about the technology they are using to spice up their instruction!
Trimester one grades closed and parents can view the final grades on Friday, December 17th. Students who achieve honors will be given their certificates in homeroom on December 22nd so you will have them to post at home for the holiday break.
