Dear West Shore Families-
Happy Friday!
Sadly, due to weather conditions we had to cancel our Movie Night this week. Given the rapid change in temperature it looks like we will have to wait until spring to reschedule.
This week the after school activities started and it was great to see the kids enjoying themselves in the many clubs and activities they participated in.
Next week, we have no school on Tuesday as it is Election Day. Our staff members will be engaging in a variety of professional learning activities. On Wednesday our 8th grade chorus, band, and strings students will be having an outdoor fall performance to shake the dust off their performance skills. It will be a short but fun opportunity for them to play for their family.
Reminder: Next week the students will start using their lockers to store their coats. If they wish to put some books or their backpacks in the locker that will be fine as well. However, we will not be doing a locker break midway through the day so they will have to take what they need for the day with them. We will also not be locking the lockers. This is so we can get in and out of them quickly in waves to maintain social distancing.
