Dear West Shore Families-
A big thank you to the PTA for this awesome sign on our fence!! I think it looks fantastic and so do the staff and kids! We had our first Wingman led advisory this week. Our school trained 80 students to be “Wingmen.” These students lead the others in activities that are geared towards building a sense of community and acceptance. The idea is to help students connect with each other and create an atmosphere of friendship and care; to understand that we are all a lot more alike than we are different and that kindness matters! I think it is going great and feel very proud of our school.
We are now a few weeks into the first trimester so it’s a great time to check on your child’s progress in PowerSchool. Have a conversation with your child about their progress so far and set some goals. We look forward to discussing them at the upcoming Parent/Teacher conferences next month.

Early release time will be at 12:35 both days. I will be getting more information out to you in the coming weeks.
