Dear West Shore Families-
I can’t believe tomorrow will be 20 years since the September 11th tragedy. I want to thank our Social Studies teachers for spending time with the students to learn about the events and repercussions of September 11th. Also, to our 8th grade team for organizing a patriotic spirit day to commemorate the day.
It looks to be a beautiful, fall-like weekend so enjoy some outdoor time with your family Here is some important information for your review:
Student Attendance -
As you know, teachers take attendance during homeroom
Notifying the school prior to 8:00 AM regarding your child’s absence from school is extremely important as the homeroom teacher takes attendance after 8:00 AM.
To notify the school parents MUST login to PowerSchool and complete the Parents Attendance Form.
Open House will be September 21st at 6:00 and will be held virtually. I will share more details when I have them.
Please take a minute and join the PTA. The form is attached and it's super easy this year. There is a QR code that you scan with your camera and the link will bring to you an easy online payment. Please consider buying some Mums from our PTA.
