We hope this message finds you well as we head into March with exciting updates and events to share:
8th Grade Latin Presentation - Tuesday, March 4th
We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Furst from Jonathan Law High School will be joining us on March 4th during ASA in the Media Center. She will present "Uncover the Secrets of the Ancient World," delving into topics such as mythology, gladiators, Italy, Ancient Empires, and more. This promises to be an enlightening experience for our students.
School Dance - March 21st
Mark your calendars for March 21st from 7 to 9pm! Our Student Council is hosting a themed dance titled "Around the World: Dancing Through Destinations." It's sure to be a lively and enjoyable evening for our students. Click here for the flyer. Permission slips were passed out in homeroom this week.
West Shore Insider: Music Department Spotlight!
The latest edition of the West Shore Insider has been filmed and released! This edition highlights the incredible opportunities available in our Music Department. Spring 2025 Middle School Conference Schedule
We are pleased to announce the schedule for our upcoming spring conferences:
Tuesday, March 18th: 1:05-3:05 p.m.
Wednesday, March 19th: 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Please note, there will be a modified early dismissal at 12:35 p.m. on both conference days to accommodate our schedule. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to select conference times using My Conference Time, accessible on our school website starting from Wednesday, March 5th, at 9:00 a.m. until Monday, March 17th, at 12:00 p.m.
Conferences will be held in person unless a virtual meeting via Google Meet is requested directly from the teacher. For those preferring virtual sessions, please contact your child’s teacher after confirming your conference time through My Conference Time Online Scheduler.

WSMS PTA Updates:
WSMS PTA is excited and proud to announce that Ms. Fisher and Mrs. Laudenslager have been chosen by the Milford Council of PTAs as their Lifetime Achievement Award Winners for their leadership and work with the WAVE program. The National PTA Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor from the nation’s largest advocacy organization - to the person who daily lives out his or her commitment to children. They will be honored at the May Council meeting.
