We’ve had a great week here at West Shore! Our students continue to stay busy with exciting learning experiences and opportunities to explore new interests. From our talented musicians sharing their passion to our eighth graders preparing for high school and beyond, there’s always something happening. Read on for the latest updates!
🔴⚫ West Shore Insider: Music Department Spotlight! ⚫🔴
The latest edition of the West Shore Insider has been filmed and released! This edition highlights the incredible opportunities available in our Music Department. 🌌 Planetarium Trip – Grade 8 🌌
Our eighth-grade science students will be heading to Foran High School over the next few weeks for a special Planetarium Experience! This hands-on learning opportunity allows students to work with Foran’s Astronomy teacher as they explore constellations and the atmosphere in an interactive setting.

🏫 Jonathan Law High School Trip – February 25th 🏫
A reminder to our eighth-grade families: Students will visit Jonathan Law High School on Tuesday, February 25th for a high school orientation and activity fair! This visit will introduce students to their future school, providing insight into academics, extracurriculars, and student life.
📌 Trip Details:
🚌 Departure: 8:15 AM
📍 Activities & Tour at Jonathan Law
🔙 Return to West Shore: 10:15 AM
School counselors and Grade 8 Homeroom Teachers will chaperone the trip. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about their next big adventure!
