It’s been a busy and exciting week at West Shore Middle School! As we head into the long weekend, here are some updates and upcoming events to keep on your radar:
Joe Fury Visit – February 12th
Our sixth-grade science classes welcomed Joe Fury from News Channel 8 to learn about weather and its impact on us. His visit helped deepen students' understanding of weather patterns and forecasting.

Student-Led Advisory – SideKick Program:
Resumes on Thursday, February 20th. This program provides students with opportunities for leadership and collaboration during advisory sessions.VFW Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest:
Congratulations to Aaran Parikh for placing in the top three in Milford! We are so proud of his accomplishment.Grade 8 Planetarium Trip:
Our eighth-grade science students will visit the Foran High School Planetarium on February 21st, 25th, and 28th to expand their knowledge of constellations and the Earth’s atmosphere.Jonathan Law High School Trip – February 25th:
Eighth-grade students will visit Jonathan Law High School for an orientation and activity fair on Tuesday, February 25th. They will learn about life in high school and attend an elective fair.
