This week was filled with meaningful events, community connections, and valuable learning experiences for our students. Here’s a look back on all the special moments we shared:
Veterans Day Bring a Veteran to Lunch – Wednesday, November 6
On Wednesday, we hosted our annual “Bring a Veteran to Lunch” event to honor those who have served our country. Students warmly welcomed a wonderful group of Veterans and enjoyed meaningful conversations over a shared meal. It was heartening to see the exchange of stories and gratitude in our lunchroom. Veterans were treated to a delicious meal, cake, and a flower as a token of our appreciation. Thank you to all the families who made this event possible by inviting their loved ones to join us!
Internet Safety Presentation by Scott Driscoll – Thursday, November 7
On Thursday, our students attended a valuable presentation on internet safety with Scott Driscoll, founder of Internet Safety Concepts. Scott discussed the importance of making safe choices online and highlighted the potential risks associated with unsafe technology use. Our students walked away with practical tips to protect their online presence and make informed decisions about their digital interactions.
Marking Period Ended – October 31
A friendly reminder that the first marking period has officially ended. Grades will be accessible through the parent portal starting November 18. We encourage you to check the portal on that date to review your child’s progress and celebrate their hard work during this first part of the school year.
Food Drive - November
