Happy Friday! It’s been a busy and exciting week at WSMS. Here’s a look at some of the events and activities we enjoyed together:
High School Fair – Tuesday
We were thrilled to host the High School Fair for our eighth graders this past Tuesday! It was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their future pathways and learn about the wide range of educational options available to them. We were delighted to see such a great parent turnout! Thank you to our school counselors, Ms. Staltaro and Mrs. Campanella, for organizing this valuable event. We hope it sparked some meaningful conversations at home about what lies ahead.
Student-Led Advisory – Thursday
Thursday’s advisory was led by our incredible student “Sidekicks” leaders. These students took charge, organizing fun activities and games to help their peers connect and build stronger social bonds. These student leaders are making our school community stronger and more connected!
The end of the first marking period is approaching on October 31st. Grades will be viewable in the parent portal starting November 18th. This is a great time to review your child’s progress and check in on how they are doing as we head into the next part of the school year.
