Dear West Shore Families,
We had a short but eventful week at WSMS. Our students came to school dressed to impress for Picture Day on Wednesday! Hopefully they got a good picture of everyone but if not retakes will be on December 4th. Many
of our ELA classes went to the media center for a “Book Tasting.” This was an opportunity to sample some different books so students can find what type of genre they would enjoy reading.
West Shore Middle School Handbook:
I hope you all had the chance to check out our new West Shore Middle School Handbook. This resource contains important information about our school policies and procedures, as well as course descriptions for all classes, including electives. You can access the handbook via this link, and on our website for easy access.

Week of October 14th - Scholastic Book Fair: WSMS will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair during the week of October 14th! Please check out the attached digital flier for more information on how to set up an "ewallet" for easy, cashless shopping. No need to send cash to school – just load up the ewallet, and your child can shop with ease.
October 18th- Think Pink (wear Pink) Day! Fundraiser for Norma Pfriem Breast Cancer Center at Bridgeport Hospital
