Dear West Shore Middle School Families,
We have had an incredibly eventful and exciting week at West Shore Middle School, filled with music, performances, and new beginnings!
On Tuesday, we held our annual Weststock rock concert, showcasing an impressive 22 bands. It was truly heartwarming to see our students put themselves out there and perform with such confidence and enthusiasm. Their talent and dedication were evident, and the event was a fantastic celebration of our students' musical abilities.
Wednesday was a day of musical excellence with our Band and Orchestra concert. The spring concert was a resounding success, featuring a mix of classical and contemporary music that left us in awe. Our students' hard work and commitment to their craft shone brightly. We look forward to seeing the kids shine next week at the Lake Compounce competition.
Yesterday, we welcomed our incoming 6th-grade students for a visit. They were absolutely super excited! It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and eagerness to join our West Shore family. We are thrilled to welcome them in the fall and watch them grow and succeed.

As we approach the end of the school year, please make note of the early release days and ensure that your children are picked up according to the early dismissal schedule.

¡Hemos tenido una semana increíblemente llena de acontecimientos y emoción en West Shore Middle School, llena de música, actuaciones y nuevos comienzos!
El martes celebramos nuestro concierto anual de rock en Weststock, en el que participaron 22 bandas impresionantes. Fue realmente reconfortante ver a nuestros estudiantes esforzarse y actuar con tanta confianza y entusiasmo. Su talento y dedicación fueron evidentes y el evento fue una celebración fantástica de las habilidades musicales de nuestros estudiantes.
El miércoles fue un día de excelencia musical con nuestro concierto de Banda y Orquesta. El concierto de primavera fue un éxito rotundo, con una mezcla de música clásica y contemporánea que nos dejó asombrados. El arduo trabajo y el compromiso de nuestros estudiantes con su oficio brillaron intensamente. Esperamos ver a los niños brillar la próxima semana en la competencia de Lake Compounce.
Ayer dimos la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes entrantes de sexto grado. ¡Estaban absolutamente súper emocionados! Fue maravilloso ver su entusiasmo y entusiasmo por unirse a nuestra familia de West Shore. Estamos encantados de darles la bienvenida en el otoño y verlos crecer y tener éxito.
