Dear West Shore Middle School Families,
As we conclude another eventful week at West Shore Middle School, we wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our wonderful parents for their overwhelming support during Teacher Appreciation Week. Your generosity truly warmed our hearts, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive community behind us. From the delicious food to the thoughtful gift cards and even the henna artist, your kindness made this week truly special for our teachers.
We also want to express our appreciation for Nurse Levin on Wednesday for School Nurses Day. Nurse Levin is an indispensable member of our school community, and we are grateful for her dedication and care for our students' well-being.
This week was filled with artistic and musical celebrations. The Student Art Show at Parson's Complex showcased the incredible creativity and talent of our students, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements. Additionally, our West Shore School Chorus wowed audiences with their captivating spring performance on Thursday, highlighting the hard work and dedication they've put into their craft.
Looking ahead, we have more exciting events in store. Next week, we will be hosting Weststock, our annual spring music celebration, on Tuesday. This mock rock concert, produced by Mr. Kalafus, promises to be a thrilling showcase of our students' musical talents. On Wednesday evening, our Band & Strings ensembles will treat us to enchanting performances, thanks to the dedication of Mr. Nunno and Miss Robin.
Please note that we have an early release day on Wednesday for teacher professional learning. Dismissal will be at 12:45.
We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the support of our parents and staff. Thank you for your continued involvement in our school community, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.

Teacher Appreciation Week: Thank you to Michelle Armellino for chairing this committee and to all the parents who donated and helped this week. We are so thankful to be part of such an amazing school community.

Estimadas familias de la escuela secundaria West Shore:
Al concluir otra semana llena de acontecimientos en West Shore Middle School, queríamos tomarnos un momento para extender nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos nuestros maravillosos padres por su abrumador apoyo durante la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros. Su generosidad realmente conmovió nuestros corazones y nos sentimos increíblemente afortunados de tener una comunidad tan solidaria detrás de nosotros. Desde la deliciosa comida hasta las atentas tarjetas de regalo e incluso el artista de henna, su amabilidad hizo que esta semana fuera realmente especial para nuestros maestros.
También queremos expresar nuestro agradecimiento a la enfermera Levin el miércoles por el Día de la Enfermera Escolar. La enfermera Levin es un miembro indispensable de nuestra comunidad escolar y estamos agradecidos por su dedicación y cuidado por el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes.
Esta semana estuvo llena de celebraciones artísticas y musicales. La Exposición de Arte Estudiantil en Parson's Complex mostró la increíble creatividad y el talento de nuestros estudiantes, y no podríamos estar más orgullosos de sus logros. Además, nuestro Coro de la Escuela West Shore cautivó al público con su cautivadora actuación de primavera el jueves, destacando el arduo trabajo y la dedicación que han puesto en su oficio.
De cara al futuro, tenemos más eventos interesantes reservados. La próxima semana, el martes organizaremos Weststock, nuestra celebración musical anual de primavera. Este simulacro de concierto de rock, producido por el Sr. Kalafus, promete ser una exhibición emocionante de los talentos musicales de nuestros estudiantes. El miércoles por la noche, nuestros conjuntos Band & Strings nos deleitarán con actuaciones encantadoras, gracias a la dedicación del Sr. Nunno y la Srta. Robin.
