Dear West Shore Middle School Families,
We started off the week making history! The solar eclipse started just as we were leaving school on Monday. I hope you all got a chance to safely view this scientific event.
Monday also marked the start of our last marking period. Grades for Q3 will be available for viewing on 4/19.
It was so nice to welcome our staff and students back to school from spring break. They got right to work on many great learning experiences. Here we have several students starting their new Q4 3D art class. They built landscapes of their choosing with paper!
In today’s digital world it is very important that we keep up with the current technology and how it affects our students’ safety. Please join us for a free pizza dinner followed by a very informative presentation about Internet Safety on April 18 at 6pm. The students will learn about how to use the internet safely and we as parents will learn about what to be aware of. West Shore PTA Updates:
HUGE thank you to all of the athletes that participated in the student/staff basketball games. Thank you to the school staff for taking the time to be there with us and to all the students and families for a wonderful evening!

April 24th PTA Meeting 6:30PM - Last meeting of the year, we will be electing officers for the 24-25 school year and voting on the PTA budget.

Estimadas familias de la escuela secundaria West Shore:
¡Empezamos la semana haciendo historia! El eclipse solar comenzó justo cuando salíamos de la escuela el lunes. Espero que todos hayan tenido la oportunidad de ver de forma segura este eve
El lunes también marcó el inicio de nuestro último período de calificaciones. Las calificaciones del tercer trimestre estarán disponibles para su visualización el 19 de abril.
Fue muy agradable darle la bienvenida a nuestro personal y estudiantes a la escuela después de las vacaciones de primavera. Se pusieron manos a la obra en muchas experiencias de aprendizaje excelentes. Aquí tenemos a varios estudiantes comenzando su nueva clase de arte 3D del cuarto trimestre. ¡Construyeron paisajes de su elección con papel!
En el mundo digital actual es muy importante que nos mantengamos al día con la tecnología actual y cómo afecta la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes. Únase a nosotros para una cena de pizza gratis seguida de una presentación muy informativa sobre seguridad en Internet el 18 de abril a las 6 p.m. Los estudiantes aprenderán cómo usar Internet de manera segura y nosotros, como padres, aprenderemos qué debemos tener en cuenta.
