Dear West Shore Middle School Families,
We were happy to see so many families come out for conferences this week. Please remember you can reach out to a teacher any time you have questions or concerns. We had a great week at WSMS!
Monday brought the opening of our WSMS third quarter art show. This student led art show is in the media center. Students showcased their talents and purposely planned the placement of their art pieces in our library. Pretty amazing pieces… I was impressed!
The Media Center is also home of the West Shore “March BOOK Madness” bracket. Lisa Vaccino has once again organized this event. She has been sending out links for students to vote for their favorite title. I can't wait to see what book wins the title!
Tuesday night was the district strings concert. Our talented strings students took the stage at Parsons to showcase their amazing skills. Our very own Robin Fehr conducted both elementary and middle school students.
Hot off the presses is our latest edition of The Westshore Insider! Check out what our students are learning about mindfulness in their Health classes with Mrs. Woolfe!

March 26th Student/Staff Basketball Game at 7pm.
Join us at the Jonathan Law Gym for this is a family event, students must be accompanied by an adult. Snacks & Drinks will be sold at the event and there will be a raffle. PTA will be accepting donations of hygiene products at the door (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste….)
March 27th PTA Meeting 6:30 PM
April 12th Family Skate Night at 6:15, more information to come
April 24th PTA Meeting 6:30 PM - Last meeting of the year.

Estimadas familias de la escuela secundaria West Shore:
Nos alegró ver tantas familias asistir a las conferencias esta semana. Recuerde que puede comunicarse con un maestro en cualquier momento que tenga preguntas o inquietudes. ¡Tuvimos una gran semana en WSMS!
El lunes se inauguró nuestra exposición de arte del tercer trimestre de WSMS. Esta exposición de arte dirigida por estudiantes se encuentra en el centro de medios. Los estudiantes mostraron sus talentos y planificaron deliberadamente la ubicación de sus obras de arte en nuestra biblioteca. Piezas bastante sorprendentes… ¡Me impresionó!
El Media Center también alberga el grupo “March BOOK Madness” de West Shore. Lisa Vaccino ha vuelto a organizar este evento. Ha estado enviando enlaces para que los estudiantes voten por su título favorito. yo chormiga ¡Espera a ver qué libro gana el título!
El martes por la noche fue el concierto de cuerdas del distrito. Nuestros talentosos estudiantes de cuerdas subieron al escenario en Parsons para mostrar sus increíbles habilidades. Nuestro propio Robin Fehr dirigió a estudiantes de primaria y secundaria.

26 de marzoJuego de baloncesto para estudiantes y personal a las 7 pm.
Únase a nosotros en el Jonathan Law Gym ya que este es un evento familiar, los estudiantes deben estar acompañados por un adulto. En el evento se venderán snacks y bebidas y habrá una rifa. La PTA aceptará donaciones de productos de higiene en la puerta (champú, acondicionador, jabón, pasta de dientes….)
