Dear West Shore Families-
We had a great start to the school year! I must compliment you all on what wonderful children you have. The teachers are buzzing about how kind, motivated, and fun the kids are. Arrival and dismissal went very smoothly so thank you for making that go so well.
Please mark your calendars for the West Shore Open House on September 18th from 6:00-8:00. We look forward to welcoming our families to the school. For many of you it will be your first time in the building. Also, for your convenience the PTA is sponsoring a pizza fundraiser with Silver Sands that day so you can skip making dinner and get takeout all while supporting our school! Click here for a flier.
We are also happy to celebrate our WSMS students who played in the Little League World Series. This group of amazing girls made it all the way to the semi finals!! Congrats to, Cayleigh G, Emma B, Samantha M, Marina C, Addison M, Danielle K!

Thank you to all of the families who helped us welcome staff back by ordering off of the Amazon wish list or dropping snacks off. We will keep you posted about more opportunities throughout the year to show the staff how much we appreciate them.

Food Drive: September is Hunger Action Month. West Shore PTA In association with the Purple Pantry Boxes will be collecting shelf stable foods for the month of September. Click here for more information. Donations can be placed in the bin in the school lobby.

Estimadas familias de West Shore:
¡Tuvimos un gran comienzo de año escolar! Debo felicitarlos a todos por los maravillosos hijos que tienen. Los profesores están entusiasmados con lo amables, motivados y divertidos que son los niños. La llegada y la salida transcurrieron sin problemas, así que gracias por hacer que todo fuera tan bien.
Marque en sus calendarios la jornada de puertas abiertas de West Shore el 18 de septiembre de 6:00 a 8:00. Esperamos darle la bienvenida a nuestras familias a la escuela. Para muchos de vosotros será la primera vez en el edificio. Además, para su comodidad, la PTA patrocinará una recaudación de fondos de pizza con Silver Sands ese día para que pueda omitir la preparación de la cena y comprar comida para llevar mientras apoya a nuestra escuela.
