Dear West Shore Families-
This week our strings students attended two district wide rehearsals for the big Electrify Your Symphony concert that will be held at 7:00 tonight at Parson’s Auditorium. Tickets are still on sale so see the information below for a link to online ordering.
I just want to remind our families that parents are not allowed to drop off fast food for students at lunch time. District policy only allows food made and prepared by cafeteria staff to be served during lunch. Of course students may bring in their own cold lunch prepared at home.
The West Shore PTA has resurrected the Faculty vs. Students basketball game. It will take place on March 22nd from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the Law Gym. The PTA is also asking families to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to a local pantry. It should be a fun night, so please think about attending (flier attached below).

Our first ever Electrify Your Symphony Performance for our almost 300 string students in Milford is happening soon! For those of you that are not aware, Electrify Your Symphony is a program developed by Mark Wood, one of the founders of the Trans Siberian Orchestra. The program includes a 2 day workshop for all students where they work directly with Mark. The program culminates in a performance on Friday, March 10 at 7:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Auditorium @ Parson’s (think orchestra meets Trans Siberian Orchestra!) This will be a concert with our students that has never before been done in Milford. We hope you will attend! If you need tickets, they are available for purchase here.
Don’t forget that West Shore “Spirit Wear” is here. Orders can be placed online here on or before Monday, March 20th. If you have any questions, please reach out to Deb Grillo or Ashley Bua. All orders will be delivered to WSMS around April 20th.
