Dear West Shore Families-
Hope you all had a wonderful winter break. This week our 8th grade field trips to the Foran Planetarium began with the first group of students attending. Our 6th graders listened to a presentation from Channel 8 News weatherman, Joe Furey. This was a great opportunity for them to learn about this topic and how it is studied in real life after their weather unit in science.
As you know Mrs. Brown and her “Pet Lovers” Club worked hard to create a West Shore Pet Calendar to raise money for our local shelters. This was an extremely successful fundraiser! The club donated the money they raised to the Milford and West Haven Animal Shelters. On Thursday, two officers from the West Haven Pet Shelter visited West Shore to thank the “Pet Lovers” Club.
Our PTA is going to bring back the Staff vs. Student Basketball Game on March 22nd. Click here for a flier and make sure you save the date!
