Weekly Highlight
First Grade worked on subtracting 1 or 2 from a number within 10. Partnerships discuss strategies for subtracting 1 or 2 while covering the difference on their 5 in a Row board.
We are so thankful to have the PTA’s support in decorating our building for the upcoming OHS Fun Run on Friday, October 28th! Please see below for all the details.

Arrival & Dismissal Reminders
Please take the time to review the arrival/dismissal reminders below. We will be enforcing these to ensure the safety of all. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in making our arrival/dismissal safe for all students.
Arrival
Vehicles dropping students off for school must drop off at the main entrance where staff is located and walk down the sidewalk to the school.
Vehicles should not drive down Clark Hill and bypass the car drop off line to drop students off at the exit driveway. You must wait in the car drop off line.
Once you have dropped off your child, please do not pull up and park on the road in front of the school.
Dismissal
Vehicles must stay in the lane and should not attempt to go around other vehicles unless directed to do so.
Vehicle operators should remain in their vehicles.
Vehicles must not block school driveway entrances or exits to allow for bus entry as well as in the event of an emergency.
Vehicles should not park along the road in front of the school.

Test, Mask, Go: The Test-Mask-Go protocols clearly outline the steps to take when a student is ill, with the goal being to maximize the amount of time students remain in school and minimize the amount of time individuals need to stay out of school.
Fall Conferences
We are pleased to announce our Fall 2022 Elementary Conference Schedule:
Wednesday, October 19th 1:45-3:45 p.m.
Thursday, October 20th 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 21st 1:45-3:45 p.m.
*Please note that we will have a modified early dismissal time on the conference days to accommodate the conference schedule. Therefore, students will be dismissed on October 19th, 20th and October 21st at 1:15pm.
Parents/guardians will once again have the opportunity to select a conference time through My Conference Time. All conferences will be in person unless a parent/guardian requests a Google Meet link directly from the teacher.
Fall conference sign up information will be live on our school website from Friday, October 7th, at 9:00 a.m. through Monday, October 17th, at 12:00 p.m. If you prefer a virtual session, please contact the teacher to request a Google Meet link to conduct your conference virtually after you have confirmed your conference time through My Conference Time Online Scheduler. We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s learning!
Quick tip: Look for emails from “noreply@myconferencetime.com” when searching email for conference confirmation communication.
