Dear OHS Families,
OHS Highlights
This week we are highlighting Fifth Grade!!
In math, students are using division skills and ratio tables to determine the best buy in various real life situations. The students are continuing their work with analyzing text, interpreting themes, and using evidence to support reading responses. In social studies, we are continuing our study of the American Revolution. Finally, we are working in conjunction with the STEM lab to begin our unit on Earth Systems.

The PTA SOCK Fundraiser!!!
We are launching a fundraiser and need your help to ensure our graduating class gets the sendoff they deserve. Our unique “Silly Sock” fundraiser is a hands off and fun way to raise money. Who doesn’t love silly socks? They make great gifts for people of all ages (they fit perfectly inside of Easter baskets) and there are hundreds of varieties to choose from. The best part is that all you need to do to help (besides order socks) is share the link with your friends and family. There are no forms to print, cash to collect or deliveries to make. Remember the more we sell, the more we can do to celebrate our fifth graders. So it’s time to sell ( and buy) some socks! ~Lou Spetrino, Fifth Grade Chair |
