Dear OHS Eagles,
Our classrooms had a successful week with Bookworms! Students engaged in choral and partner reading, explicit vocabulary instruction, fluency practice, and comprehension development. Also, we celebrated World Read Aloud Day with the following recorded stories:
Our 100th day of school was a blast!
Students got into the spirit by dressing up as if they were 100 years old, complete with glasses, canes, and creative outfits.
It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate this milestone!
Author Visit: We are having an author visit on March 7th for all students to culminate Read Across America week. Dana Meachen Rau, author of the Who is…? What is…? book series, will be our guest author. If you would like to order a book(s) you may order online by February 24th and they will be delivered to OHS. Click HERE for more information.
