Author Visit: We are having an author visit on March 7th for all students to culminate Read Across America week. Dana Meachen Rau, author of the Who is…? What is…? book series, will be our guest author. If you would like to order a book(s) you may order online by February 24th and they will be delivered to OHS. Click HERE for more information.

Birthday/Celebration- If your child is handing out birthday invitations in school, all students in the class must be invited. Otherwise, please refrain from sending them to school for distribution. At the elementary level, we do not use food as a part of our class celebrations (birthdays, holidays, end-of-year parties). Please do not send or bring food or candy to your children's classroom for parties or other reasons. For birthdays or other special events, we invite family members in to read a book or do a craft with students as part of the celebration. Please coordinate any visits with the classroom teacher well in advance.
