OHS Family News 11/22/2024
Dear OHS Eagles,
This week we are highlighting a component of foundation literacy called UFLI. UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) is an explicit and systematic approach to teaching foundational skills necessary for students to be proficient readers. Primarily focusing on phonics- the relationship between letters and sounds. UFLI allows our younger students to learn the building blocks of reading to increase fluency and comprehension.
On Thursday we surprised students with a STAFF ONLY spirit day-- TWIN DAY! Students were challenged to find the twins among our staff.
