OHS went GOLD for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
The OHS Fun Run season is officially underway! We hosted our assembly to share the excitement with our learning community. We look forward to another successful event. Please see the PTA section below for more information.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Greetings, MPS Families!
We are pleased to announce our Fall 2024 Elementary Conference Schedule:
Tuesday, October 15th 1:45 - 3:45 p.m.
Wednesday, October 16th 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 17th 1:45 - 3:45 p.m.
*Please note that we will have a modified early dismissal time on the conference days to accommodate the conference schedule. Therefore, students will be dismissed on October 15th, October 16th, and October 17th at 1:15pm.
Parents/guardians will once again have the opportunity to select a conference time through My Conference Time. All conferences will be in person unless a parent/guardian requests a Google Meet link directly from the teacher.
Fall conference sign-up information will be live on our school website from Friday, October 4th, at 9:00 a.m. through Monday, October 14th, at 12:00 p.m. If you prefer a virtual session, please contact the teacher to request a Google Meet link to conduct your conference virtually after you have confirmed your conference time through My Conference Time Online Scheduler. We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s learning!
Quick tip: Look for emails from “noreply@myconferencetime.com” when searching email for conference confirmation communications.
Food Service
Food Services Update - For information including lunch menus and how to create a food service account please visit the MPS food service website. For students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals, (determined by the completion of the Free/Reduced-Price Meals application or Direct Certification), breakfast and lunch will be offered free of charge.

Friday, Oct. 18th- Trunk or Treat- 6:45-8:00 pm
The entrance fee is $5.00 per family AND at least 1 bag of candy per child attending. Candy should only be brought to the event and not sent into school ahead of time.
Families decorating cars do NOT have to pay the $5.00 fee. However, they do need to supply candy/treats. Cars can begin setting up at 5:30. Cars MUST be parked by 6:00. You must register your car on the signupgenius, as spaces are limited. Cars will be parked on a first come basis. (Requests for cars to be parked near one another will not be allowed.)

Friday, Oct. 25th- OHS Fun Run & Parent Information regarding donations
This year to make the Fun Run Pep Assembly a little more exciting we are going to open the Fundraising website a week early and have our first random draw Raffle Friday at the Assembly. For every $5 donation, your child(ren) will get a raffle ticket toward the raffle prizes. If you receive a donation for any raffles or prizes for the Fun Run you(r) child(ren) will get raffle tickets for those as well.
*Raffle tickets for donations will not be given until the donations have been handed in.

Featured this week : Milford Public Library October programs the FREE "Fiesta Latina" at Yale Peabody Museum and several Connecticut Fairs.
