OHS NEWS 4/19/24
Dear OHS Families,
Congratulations to our OHS “of the Year” Recipients
Parent of the Year: Joanna Whitehead
Para of the Year: Kirsten Betts
Teacher of the Year: Hannah Fraser
Third Grade had a visit from the News 12 Meteorologist.
Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit came to OHS for our culminating activity to end our science unit on weather. The students gained more knowledge of natural weather hazards and the role of the meteorologist to detect them. Students were also able to practice weather reporting and had the opportunity to go live while Jonathan forecasted the current weather.
The PTA Scholastic Spring Book Fair is next week. They are offering the BOGO sale as well! Every class will have a specific shopping day. Classroom teachers will share that information.
We are planning for our upcoming OHS Career Day on May 23rd.
If you are interested in participating, please click HERE for more details.
Photographing Students- As a reminder, if you are attending an event or coming into a classroom as a guest, please do NOT take photos of children. You can take photos of your own children, but please refrain from taking photos of other children. Thank you!
