Good Afternoon Meadowside,

Congratulations to our 2022 Respect Star Winners!  Respect Stars are nominated to be their class Respect Star by their peers.  They are students who show incredible respect for their peers, their learning community and value of learning.  They are polite, courteous and fair and tell the truth and act with integrity.  Click here to celebrate this year’s respect stars!  A big congratulations also to Shloka and Olivia for being our Respect Ambassadors.  We couldn’t be more proud to have you represent our school!

It was great seeing so many families at our family math night last Friday. We had over 100 students and their families playing and learning together - It was fabulous! Thank you to PTA and Mathnasium and to all our families and former students who volunteered to help run stations!  We are so thankful that we are able to return to events such as Math Night and look forward to more family activities in the weeks to come.

Monday is our first in school book fair in two years!  In school on Monday, May 23rd, students will be able to shop with their class.  Families who wish their child to purchase books, should send their students with money in an envelope labeled Book Fair, with the student’s name and teacher’s name.  On Tuesday, May 24th families will be able to shop at the fair from 3:30- 6:30.  Families can enter the book fair through Door 6 at the back of the building.

Parent University - Join us for the district’s next Parent University “Camp Read S’more” on Tuesday, June 7th at 6pm at Milford Library. More information and to RSVP, click here.

As the year begins to wind down, we are working to collect library books that have been checked out to students this year. Reminder slips will be sent home to students who have books checked out.  Please take time to look through your house and bookshelves to ensure library books are returned.  The last day that students can check out books from our school library is Friday, June 3.   Thank you, The Library Media Team
