Good Afternoon Meadowside Families,

We hope that everyone stayed safe and warm today!  We had so much fun on Twos Day Tuesday!  Students and staff were so creative -- we saw tutus, ties, two of a kinds, and lots of doubles -- double bows, double shirts, double socks …. And lots of better-2-gether shirts! What a fun way to come back from our winter break!

READ ACROSS AMERICA: Next week is Read Across America week and we are celebrating reading all week long.  Look out in your child’s backpack on Monday (sorry it didn’t make it home today due to the snow day) for an overview of activities.  We have a number of theme days, in school and family activities as well as raffle opportunities -- all in the spirit of promoting a love of reading and an appreciation for where the pages of a book can take you! Our incredible PTA is also donating books for our students to take home!  Thank you PTA!  Check out the overview of theme days below and click HERE for a full overview of activities including evening events.

It is not too late to sign up to be a guest reader throughout the week.  We extended sign ups through the weekend as many families had trouble accessing the form with a gmail address.  Sorry for the confusion! The form is fully open now so feel free to go back and sign up through Sunday at noon.  Click HERE to be a guest reader.
