We wanted to remind everyone that the district, in partnership with Griffin hospital, has scheduled a series of vaccination clinics for our students aged 5 - 11 at our elementary schools during the week of Jan 31- Feb 4 and during the week of Feb. 21- Feb. 25. Meadowside clinics have been scheduled for January 31st and February 23 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Students can attend any clinic (Full Schedule below). Please click HERE for more information. If you do plan to attend a clinic please be aware of the following:Many schools dismiss and the parking lots are busy until about 3:45 pm. We ask that you please not enter our parking areas before the 3:45 pm time. Buildings will open at 4 pm as we want to keep students safe during dismissal
Voluntary COVID Testing for Students: In partnership with Progressive Diagnostics students (regardless of vaccination status) within our school will be eligible for weekly COVID testing. More information can be found here
COVID Vaccine upload - Parents may voluntarily provide a copy of their child’s COVID immunization card now by uploading it using our secure form here. This information will only be accessible by school nurses and school administration.
ASAP!'s Celebration of Young Game Designers (grades 3-12)- This opportunity promotes creative thinking, problem-solving, writing, storytelling, visual arts while showing students the process of video game development. Top selected students will work virtually with professional video game developers to bring their video game to life! The deadline is Feb. 1st, 2022. Please see the flyer for more information.
If your child is absent from learning, either from our school building or from approved virtual learning, you must log in and report the absence that day through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you have difficulty, please contact the main office.

News from our Meadowside PTA: We are excited to announce that we were awarded a 2021–2022 STEM + Families Math Nights Grant Recipients Sponsored by Mathnasium. We are excited to use this money to plan an amazing Family Math event for the spring. Additionally we have two fundraisers currently happening:
Stuffed Bread Fundraiser - orders can be placed using the PTA store by Saturday, February 5th. Delivery is on 2/11/2021 just in time for Super Bowl Sunday!
Chipotle Fundraiser - Saturday, February 5th from 4-8 at the Milford Chipotle. A percentage of orders placed goes to Meadowside PTA, don’t forget to show them this flyer.
We are excited to announce our Coin Drive during the month of February. Help PTA support the HEART Program by sending in any change donations to your child’s classroom teacher. The class that raises the most money will win a prize!!
