Good afternoon Meadowside Families,
As we shared in an earlier email, our PTA is excited to share their “Welcome” sign project with Meadowside Families: If your family speaks a different language, other than English, please let us know. We want to include you!! You do not have to be fluent in this language. This activity is to celebrate the various cultures and languages that make Meadowside so wonderful and comfortable for all. Please complete this 2 question form and share the language you/your family speak and if possible, how to say “welcome” in it.

Chipotle Fundraiser - February 5th from 4-8 at the Milford Chipotle. A percentage of orders placed goes to Meadowside PTA so don’t forget to show them this flyer.
Stuffed Bread Fundraiser - orders can be placed using the PTA store by 2/5/21 and delivery is on 2/11/2021 just in time for Super Bowl Sunday!
Lost and Found Below are pictures of our lost and found. If any of these items belong to your child, please have them see Miss Megan to claim them by Wednesday, January 19th. Any unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the week.

No School Monday, January 17th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
If your child is absent from learning, either from our school building or from approved virtual learning, you must log in and report the absence that day through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you have difficulty, please contact the main office.
District Communications - If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to review Dr. Cutaia’s updates regarding district protocols:

Masks - Students were sent home with three disposable 3 ply masks earlier this week. We have not acquired viable child size N95 masks. Using the 3-ply mask is optional (wearing a mask is still state-mandated in all Connecticut public schools).
COVID Vaccine upload - Parents may voluntarily provide a copy of their child’s COVID immunization card now by uploading it using our secure form here. This information will only be accessible by school nurses and school administration.

Wednesday, January 26th: Early Dismissal for Teacher Professional Learning. Students dismissed at 1:25.
