Good Afternoon Meadowside Families,
Thank you to all our families who donated to our Thanks-for-Giving food drive -- we are so grateful for all the donations -- what a great way to celebrate Kindness Day. It was wonderful to see so many positive messages throughout the building today. From kindness shirts to kindness videos - expressions of kindness were front and center in our classrooms! We love to see our Meadowside students showing HEART and being KIND!
Next Tuesday, November 16th is our Virtual Family Math Night from 6:00 to 7:00pm. We are hoping your family will log on and join our staff and PTA in playing some fun math games together.
Please read on for a couple of quick updates and reminders:
Safety Drills: Next week Meadowside School will be conducting a Lock Down drill. This will only be a drill and will be conducted in accordance with the School Incident Management Protocols established by the district, and in collaboration with our local first responders. Please discuss the importance of our emergency drills with your children. We thank you for your cooperation and partnership with keeping our schools safe!
Car Pick Up: Please be mindful not to block the crosswalks or the neighborhood driveways while you are waiting in the car pick-up line.
Upcoming Spirit Days: Friday, November 19th will be Sports day. Show your school spirit and represent your favorite sports team.
Reminder: Please remember to send your child to school with a refillable water bottle and a spare mask.
