Good Afternoon Meadowside Families,
Thank you to our amazing fifth graders for bringing us a musical evening this past Tuesday! HEARTfelt thanks to Ms. Walsh, Mr. Boots and Mr. Burns for organizing the evening for us and, of course, for their ongoing support of our musicians!
Before jumping into updates and reminders, I wanted to take a moment to introduce a new member of our learning community, Ms. Angela Rizzo. Ms. Rizzo is a school social worker who will be working with our counseling team during Ms. Claire Bogart’s upcoming maternity leave. Ms. Rizzo can be reached through our main office line or through her email at angelarizzo@milforded.org.
We are excited to participate once again in Milford’s Thanks-for-Giving Food Drive collection. Our school collection day for canned goods is next Friday, November 12th. Boxes will be placed outside all our arrival doors for the Friday morning drop off. Please click on the following link for more information: Thanks For Giving Food Drive Flyer. We will be celebrating Kindness Day on Friday as well -- so donating is a great way to spread some kindness!

Our lost and found is overflowing with hoodies, coats, and jackets. If you think an item has been lost or misplaced please have your child(ren) check in with Miss Megan.

Wednesday is our LifeTouch Picture Day: Information was sent home today.
Upcoming Spirit Days: Saturday, November 13th is World Kindness Day. On Friday, November 12th If you have shirts with kind messages wear them to school you spread some extra kindness. Also Friday, November 19th will be Sports day. Show you school spirit and represent your favorite sports team.
SAVE THE DATE: Meadowside Virtual Math Night will be Tuesday, November 16 from 6:00-7:00. Details to follow.

Reminder: Please remember to send your child to school with a refillable water bottle and a spare mask.
Reminder: At this time we are continuing to ask our families to not send in goodie bags or other items from one family to the rest of your class. While in-person visitors are not currently allowed, an alternative option families can participate as a virtual “mystery reader” to read a book to their child’s class as a way of celebrating special occasions. This should be worked out in advance with the classroom teacher and the teacher can set up a google meet with the family.
