Good Afternoon Meadowside Families!

We are starting our Newsletters off with some reminders and updates for next week -- but be sure to keep reading on to see photos of our Students’ Artwork -- SO much to celebrate in our Art Room!

Parent Conferences Next Week: We are looking forward to seeing you at our Parent/Teacher conferences next week:

  • Tuesday, March 18th 5:30-8:00 p.m .

  • Wednesday, March 19st  1:45-3:45 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 20th  1:45-3:45 p.m.

If you need to change or add a conference please log in to My Conference Time at https://www.myconferencetime.com/meadowside/  After Monday at noon, any changes will have to be made through our main office.   Please note that we will have a modified early dismissal time on the conference days to accommodate the conference schedule.  Therefore, students will be dismissed on March 18th, March 19th, and March 20th at 1:15pm.

Fire Drill: Next week we will be conducting a fire drill. Conducting emergency drills (fire, crisis, lockdown, etc.) is one of the most important ways we enhance our preparedness for students and staff during an emergency. Drills allow us to practice what we need to do when an emergency arises in our school. Thank you for your support.

Career Day is coming up in April!  We are thrilled to be hosting our 4th annual career day on Wednesday, April 30th. Meadowside School will be welcoming community members into our building to share about their careers, education and professional passions. Students will have the opportunity to view presentations alongside their grade level peers. We are hoping each grade will have 3-4 presentations that are about 15 min each. Presentation Ideas:

  • A brief overview of your career and a day in the life

  • Schooling, trainings or experiences required

  • Traits or skills to be successful in your career field

  • Tools, technology or resources used on the job

  • Your favorite part of the job

  • Challenges of the job and how you overcome them
